Sue, Ian and Phil have reported to me that they have had problems with game Aps advertisements popping up uninvited whilst trying to read the blog. Apparently they get so far down and then suddenly, with this year's blog, their iPad or iPhone or iSomething suddenly flips to an iPad game advertisement. Now, I still use a crappy laptop and I don't have this problem. I don't know how to resolve it so if ANYONE has any suggestions I would be very grateful.
I have been wondering how to make the blog more interesting because even I am getting a little fed up of my middle age boring hormonal day to day doings. One thing I thought about was asking friends n family to post guest postings when they go away on holiday. This would be easy to do because all I would have to do is invite via email any potential guest writers as an author. Just a thought but it may spice life up and also give others an insight to parts of the world that we don't travel. Anyone interested please inbox me.

Just tried the blog on my iPad - after a moment it flipped me onto the App Store to tempt me to buy a football game. Jan tells me that she is getting it as well. Obviously google are trying to earn a few pence from its blogspot customers. Not too sure how to stop it.
ReplyDeleteThanks Steve, everyone keeps telling me how annoying it is. I will try and contact Google and ask if there is a way to stop it.
ReplyDeleteI don't think it's our blogger because I was getting the same on Deskarati.com and spoke to Jim. I cleared history and cleared cookies and data then set private browsing to on and set accept cookies to never. I could then get onto Deskarati without problems but not into our site. I guess that it's because we have security set and it has to check you and sign you in each time so I reset, "accept cookies" back and that worked. Jim thinks its the individual iPads that the problem and this makes it look like he's right. I have never had trouble from my pc either.
